Architecture Assignment

I was short on time this weekend, so had to content myself with taking pictures of my parents' house (as mine was not fit to be seen!)  Luckily for me, my parents' house has many wonderful little details that were quite fun to shoot.

I had some trouble with the front-on photos of the house.  The sky kept washing out so I couldn't get any blue!  The picture posted above is the only blue sky I was able to get (and that by dialing down the exposure compensation by -1 or more).  Also, once I was inside I wasn't sure I really understood what "architecture" photography meant, so I just took as many interesting photos of the house as I could.
